The crisp breeze flows smoothly throughout the air—
We take steps but no trace is left behind—
The water flows cascading like my hair;
And I never thought life could be so kind,
Somehow I don’t care that there is nothing,
Now I feel like I can run forever:
Life is a project so keep on working;
I wish that I could have been more clever,
The wind will keep on getting louder too
High elevation, can finally breathe:
It started but it will not end with you,
It is unhealthy for me to aggrieve—
It’s been lovely to wander with this smile—
Why did it only last for a short while?

Your sonnet was beautiful! I liked the figurative languag that you embedded throughout it. The metaphor comparing life to a project was brilliant and the paradox that you could breathe better in high elavation was nice! I really like the adventurous theme of your sonnet!!!

Chloe articulated beautifully my experience reading your sonnet. Your sophistication as a writer is revealed in the ambiguity of your poem.
