Intro:
A descriptive title, I know, but it just seems to fit for what I have to say for this free week. This post will be “14 Things” described in list style, of course I will still use complete sentences. I hope you enjoy!
- I miss having enough free time to enjoy a book for fun, especially the meaningful ones.
- There are penguins in Australia, and they’re really tiny!
- One of the tiny penguins waddled right under me.
- The Great Barrier Reef really does look a whole lot more like Finding Nemo than I expected it to.
- Adding on to number 3, the Great Barrier Reef is beautiful out of just one eye, but it’s even better if you can get a decent seal on your snorkel mask so you don’t have salt water burning in your left eye. I speak from personal experience.
- Vegemite isn’t too gross if you prepare it right.
- Everyone is crazy, psycho, and unpredictable at times.
- If you are staying at a nice hotel and they mess up your reservation, they might just show you things that you never thought possible. Who knows, maybe they’ll book you a water taxi ride around the Sydney Harbour area, and you will have an unforgettable experience.
- I zip-lined over a crocodile.
- I jumped off of the Sydney Harbour Bridge (sort-of) after I climbed it.
- I want to wander.
- You get to make your own choices.
- You pronounce the city of Cairns as ‘cans’
- Spring Break is over, but spring has just begun.
I took the picture on the left during our water taxi ride. I’m in the picture on the right. See if you can find me.

What awesome pictures and formatting, Riley. It breaks my heart that there isn’t enough time for “free” reading. Don’t lose your love for it; cherish it when you can.
